God Himself, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, is THE Solution to the manifold issues of life. Our humanity, our flesh, our finiteness complicate the matters that need to be solved. We are in the way of the solutions of life. Jesus Himself is THE Way, THE Truth, and THE Life. We fail often to arrive at THE Solution or to yield to THE Solution because we try to force our ways and our ideologies and our theories to be the bedrock of solutions. However, only what God has said and done will work. We are in the way of the solutions of life. We need Jesus. We need to follow Jesus Christ. We need to be led by the Holy Spirit. Only God’s WAY will work. I am amazed at how we value our vast intellect, reason, logic, and rationale, which all because of sin are flawed. We need Jesus. We need to follow Jesus Christ. It is when we come together and unite in Christ that we obtain what we desire: love, purpose, acceptance, equality, wholeness, and fulfillment.
LORD,
Let us deny ourselves, take up our cross everyday, and follow you. Let us take captive every thought and make them obedient to you. Order our steps according to your Word, according to your Kingdom, according to your Righteousness, according to your Love.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Thank you for how you move us forward even if it is at drift velocity. You have made possible the miracle of unity through your oneness and the oneness we have as believers in the Holy Spirit.
Deliver us, Lord. Heal us, Lord. Unite us, Lord. Have mercy on us, Lord. Forgive us, Lord. Transform us, Lord.
